Wadi al-Na’am work camp
In July, some 50 youth joined our staff and volunteers in a volunteer work camp in the unrecognized Bedouin village of Wadi al-Na’am in the Negev desert.
This village, in addition to lacking basic water and electricity supplies just like all unrecognized villages in Israel, also suffers greatly from environmental pollution caused by nearby industrial zones.
In cooperation with Bustan – sustainable community action for land and people, we contributed to the building of the village’s medical clinic, helped build a playground for the village’s children and operated a summer-camp for them.
