Resource Development Coordinator

Rafi joined Sadaka-Reut in September 2021 as the Resource Development Coordinator.

Rafi grew up in New York, and graduated from UMass Amherst in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Literature and a minor in Psychology. While at UMass, Rafi worked towards gender and race equality through Phallacies, a theater troupe that performs educational skits combating hegemonic masculinity. He is currently finishing a Master’s degree in Conflict Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Rafi has experience in formal and informal education and has been both a participant and a facilitator of Palestinian-Jewish encounters. Having grown up in the Jewish community abroad, Rafi comes to Sadaka-Reut seeking to strengthen existing relationships and to build new ones with international communities, and to allow for Sadaka-Reut’s important work to spread as far as possible.
