Thursday, June 19, marked the last day of the Gemini Project annual activity. In the past year, 4 new dialogue and social activism groups opened in campuses and bi-national communities around the country. The project functioned in Tel Aviv University, Beit Berl College and in the city of Haifa. Every group participated in 10 bi-national meetings, where various topics of social and political nature were discussed. During the process, the participants met with different professionals and social activists in order to gain new methods for social activism. Additionally, the groups participated in a 2 day national seminar that took place in Pqiin last April and centered on the topics of social activism, essence of activity and the tools that accompany it and the performance. Towards the end of the process, the groups worked on a bi-national social activity in the geographical location where they worked. Each one of the groups decided to focus on a social-political issue that rose in their discussions. The participants thought out, planned and created different projects in their campuses or towns. Each group was unique and complex in its own way, and all of them produced different social activities that involved the larger communal circle of students within the campuses.
